Fire years ago today — I loss a good friend of mine.  She was murdered in cold-blood as she walked out of her apartment.  In commemoration of this anniversary I am bringing back an old blog post from last year I wrote.

Denita, your life story will never be forgotten to this day. This past year it was humbling having people with no ties North Carolina or N.C. Central mention you in such a positive way.
